Rain, Rain, go away! And Don't come again another day! Gear up for the stormy summer with our favorite activities to do inside on a gloomy day!
Let Gandzee help you play Dress up
First take out a few items from your own wardrobe that you wouldn’t mind having to wash or getting messed up because we all know how messes can appear in the blink of an eye and how “nobody” did it! Next, pull some accessories, hats, scarves, gloves and glasses, whatever you wish. Throw in some Gandzee accessories and your princess will be the belle of the ball. Get her dolled up with Dreamspun Statement Necklace or add the Peppercorn-flower-headband to make her a very special fairy princess. You could even throw in some makeup if you have some old stuff you don’t mind getting messed up. For the boys, throw it back to the oldies with our Fore Axel and Hudson Flannel Gatsby Hat. Don’t forget to snap some photos and tag us on instagram because we love to see all the Gandzee girls and boys enjoying their duds! Making memories is what it’s all about!
Don’t bother making your beds on a rainy day...instead, set up shop in the living room with sheets and comforters using the furniture to drape the sheets. Put pillows and cushions on the floor to make it super comfy. Plus, make sure to include the TV and you can have your very own movie theatre inside your fort...then, pop some popcorn and you're good to go. If you're more of an outdoorsy person and have tents at home, feel free to scratch the fort and set up your very own campsite inside. Incorporate sleeping bags and have a sleepover with your children in the comfort of your own home without having to worry about those stinky summer bugs!
Forget the electronics
Children these days don’t know how easy they have it. I used to walk to school a mile in the rain…uphill! Now rainy days consist of playing games on tablets and watching movies inside. Lets take them back old school and dig out those board games. Any one’s that you have will do just fine like Sorry!, Life, Candy land, or Twister. If you don’t have any board games lying around, try some puzzles to capture your little one’s attention. For a completely different approach, if you have any large pieces of paper, use your crafting supplies to trace your kiddo’s outline. Now have some fun and dress the drawing up…maybe even give it it’s very own name. We’re sure this new character would look amazing in some Gandzee clothes. Lay out an outfit on top such as the Color her world Outfit . Now your character is sure to be stylin’!
